Bid Office Manager | Johannesburg (On-site)
Multinational ICT company seeks a Bid Office Manager to lead the end-to-end bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to final submission. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent bids, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance and quality standards, and delivering error-free, compliant tender submissions within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bid sourcing, qualification, planning, development, reviews, approvals, submission, and feedback.
- Maintain bid pipelines, calendars, compliance matrices, and submission records.
- Coordinate technical, sales, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders across multiple bids.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance, compliance checks, and document control.
- Ensure tender compliance, including SBD forms, CSD, SARS tax status, B-BBEE, pricing schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Oversee electronic and hard-copy submissions, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
- Maintain content libraries, drive continuous improvement, and report on bid performance and win rates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' bid, proposal, or tender management experience, preferably in ICT or technology services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of South African tender processes, including SCM, SBD forms, CSD, B-BBEE, and tax compliance.
- Experience conducting bid compliance and quality assurance reviews.
- Advanced MS Office skills and excellent English communication.

- Experience with proposal automation tools, CRM systems, or SharePoint.
